What we pour
Concrete looks like one trade from the street and behaves like six on the ground, so each service has its own page, its own process, and its own quote logic. Driveway installation and replacement: driveways are the biggest structural job on most lots, and ours are built base-first with steel on chairs and thickened edges, then explained line by line in the driveway cost factors. Patio pours and extensions: patios are where finish and drainage decide everything, from a plain broom rectangle to stamped and exposed-aggregate surfaces, with the price factors laid out in the patio cost factors. Built for the ground we're standing on
Central Texas gives concrete two enemies: expansive clay that swells wet and shrinks dry, and summer heat that shrinks every finishing window. Our pours answer both on purpose. On clay, the subgrade gets wet and recompacted before the base goes in, the base is compacted in lifts, steel sits mid-slab on chairs, and joints are cut the same day at spacing the soil dictates. In summer, pours start at first light so the surface can be finished properly instead of racing the sun. West of the city, where rock replaces clay, the excavation changes and the base logic changes with it. None of this shows in the finished slab, which is exactly why it’s written into every scope.

How long does a concrete project take?
Most residential jobs are one to three days on site, then a curing schedule: foot traffic the next day, vehicles and building at about a week, full strength near a month. We put the milestone dates in writing at the pour so you’re not guessing from how the slab looks.
